Here’s what the 23-year-old “Take It Off” singer had to share: On transvestites: “Freaks are what make everything mildly more interesting in life but with trannies, they make me want to be a better woman. I see these men who have way better bodies than I do, more beautiful faces, better complexions, beautiful makeup, and they’re more fun than any person I’ve met in my life. They make me feel like I’m not a very good woman.” On possibly going country: “I’m really inspired by country music — my mom wrote country music — and I love Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash. I think at some point there might be some country collaborations or records in the future. But I’m also really digging being called, like half jokingly, a white girl rapper. THR is reporting Idol producer/19 Entertainment boss Simon Fuller is trying to woo the both of them into doing it. After a two-year hiatus, reality producer Nigel Lythgoe is returning to executive produce Idol following the exit of top judge Simon Cowell. “I would replace the entire judging panel,” Nigel told Zap2It in April. “I don’t think it really works replacing one person.” Other names under consideration: Usher, Chris Isaak, and Harry Connick Jr. WOULD YOU WATCH American Idol if Justin Timberlake and/or Elton John was a judge? |

Posted: 26 Jul 2010 01:20 PM PDT  Ryan Reynolds holds up a special JustJared.com coaster during the Green Lantern panel discussion at Comic-Con 2010 held at California's San Diego Convention Center on Saturday (July 24). The 33-year-old actor shared a bit about his skin-tight costume: “I wear a motion capture suit because it’s actually not seen on camera. They managed to find a material that — most would agree — is the most aggravating substance on Earth. We’re shooting in Louisiana, which is pretty close to the sun in terms of the hottest place you can find anywhere around. It’s been a little bit difficult running around in a unitard in the New Orleans high summer heat.” As for training for the intense action sequences, Ryan shared, “You’re not training on an aesthetic level. You’re training for more of a functional ability, so you want to be able to stay out of the hospital for as long as you possibly can during the shoot, but it is a [director] Martin Campbell movie, so you’re bound to be there once or twice. Pant at Comic-Con 2010 on Saturday (July 24) held at California’s San Diego Convention Center. The Gossip Girl actress, who turns 23 next month, shared a bit about one of the stunts she had to perform in her upcoming superhero flick. “I had to train with the rig that they invented for The Matrix,” Blake told JustJared.com. “It’s a gyroscopic rig that’s 30 feet in the air. I think it goes about 20 feet high but I like to say 50, so please spread that rumor. (laughs) It makes me feel cooler! I’m on this gyroscopic waist belt and it works towards your weight. It makes you very nauseous and you can go in every which direction.” As for the fashion you’ll see in Green Lantern, Blake added, “We didn’t want to connect the movie to any specific time because we didn’t want to date it. New showrunner Sera Gamble commented on Jensen’s directorial debut. She shared, “He was like a seasoned director at the first meeting.” Jensen said that he approached directing based on advice from exec producer Kim Manners. (He directed fourth episode “Weekend at Bobby’s”.) Fans yelled for Jensen to take his shirt off, so Jared looks under the table and says, “His pants are off?” The night before, Jensen and wife Danneel Harris attended the EW and SyFy party at Hotel Solamar.
